Welcome on the modelling site of Wout Moerman. I build and fly mainly rubber powered free flight models.
This website shows many of my creations and I hope to stimulate others to join me in this fascinating hobby.
I have translated parts of this website into english, but not yet all of it.
!! NEWS !!
- the Iota, an indoor (and outdoor) fun flyer
designed by Bill Brown
- Bouw je eerste vliegende schaalmodel, a
Dutch Translation of Michael Stuarts extensive tutorial for building a Comper
Swift
- a flying scale model of the famous Phantom Flash
with a wingspan of only 16.5 cm instead of 16.5"
- still only in Dutch: the Polly 6 rubber
driven sports biplane, with a free
downloadable plan.
Here are a few examples of different classes which I build. By clicking on the text or pictures you will find more of my models in that class. Some pages are translated into english, in that case a link can be found in the right upper corner.

It might seem strange to dedicate a few pages entirely to propellers. But the prop is a vital part of rubber driven free flight models. Only the right combination of model, rubber and propeller will result in a good performing model plane.
I'm always prepared to answer questions. My contact info can be found on the picture:
Who wants to start building a rubber driven flying scale model has to visit the exellent site of Mike Stuart, who has an elaborate tutorial about building a Comper Swift. And simply the best forum on the internet is the Small Flying Arts forum.
